HOW ARE THE CELLS COLLECTED?
Participating hospitals invite screened mothers expecting normal births to donate umbilical cord tissue. At the time of birth an umbilical cord extraction expert carries out the extraction process. All of the tissue is obtained and screened under FDA and AATB standard to insure the safest and highest quality product.
ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?
The patient will not experience any pain. Less than 10% of patients have experienced mild headache, low grade fever, nausea or vomiting. This typically resolves within 48 hours.
DOES INSURANCE COVER REGENERATIVE MEDICINE PROCEDURES?
Insurance does not cover most regenerative medicine procedures. There are certain hospital codes that may be covered during surgery.
IS IT ETHICAL?
There are no ethical concerns from human umbilical cord tissue cells. They are characterized as “Adult Cells”. These cells are harvested from a consented pre-scheduled C-Section birth with healthy baby and mother.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO SEE RESULTS?
Each treatment and patient is unique and results vary from patient to patient. Some patients experience rapid relief, and others have started to feel the effect 3 to 9 months post procedure as the cells proliferate and heal damaged tissue.
IS IT DANGEROUS TO USE SOMEONE ELSE CELLS?
